I have purchased a Korad KA3005P power supply as it is listed as one of three different external power supplies that can be controlled by the Light Inspector software, however I can’t get it to work. It appears that there are no Windows 7 or 10 drivers for this or the Velleman PS3005 which is essentially the same unit in a different box. What do I need to do to get the Light Inspector software to control the Korad power supply?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

    Hi Andrew,

The way we are interfacing with the power supplies, we don’t really control them, we just read the values (Voltage and Current).

So when you have the unit connected with an USB cable, you go to options -> Interface and tick the “Use external low voltage power supply” box and select the right COM port.
