Technical University of Denmark photometry

The new EU regulation (EU No 1194/2012) requires that directional lamps are measured in a 90° or 120° cone. Meaning that only light emitted inside the cone counts as luminous flux. This flux figure is used to calculate the new EEI (Energy Efficiency Index), which must be below a certain value for the light source to be approved for the European market. With the LightSpion measurement system it is now easy to accurately calculate the EEI index. These measurements can be done in a few seconds and it will verify product compliance for the European market.
