The Viso LightSpion portable goniometer system was tested at the Technical University of Danish (DTU). Senior scientist Carsten Dam-Hansen (DTU Photonics) tested a series of LED light bulbs in their laboratory with the LightSpion to see the difference in the measurement results between other systems. The test has shown that the LightSpion measurement method indeed is an accurate, easy, fast, and smart way of measuring light sources. The highest difference in lumen measured where 2.18%, which is a very small deviation compared to other systems.
