Lightholm in Latvia achhieves ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation

Great news from Latvia! Lightholm‘s in-house photometric lab has been accredited by LATAK (Latvian National Accreditation Bureau) with accreditation number T-696-00-2025, valid from October 10, 2025, to October 9, 2030.

The lab’s director, Evita Kairiša, says, “Achieving this accreditation makes us very proud and is the result of a two-year effort.”  Lightholm (formerly PBLC Nordic) already runs traceable measurements for external clients using its Viso LabSpion system. The system can carry light sources up to 2 meters in diameter and 45 kilograms. Evita and her colleagues have worked with Viso Systems for four and a half years, gaining experience that has now been formally recognized by the Latvian accreditation body. Evita continues: “As possibly the most competent lighting lab in the Baltics, we look forward to serving other clients with traceable measurements.”
